Have you ever met a bad Nerdfighter?
Someone who identifies as a Nerdfighter but isn’t particularly nice? Can someone be a Nerdfighter and not be a nice person, if the point of Nerdfighteria is to fight world suck and increase world awesome?
I’ve only ever known one Nerdfighter who I didn’t think deserved to identify as one (considering his personality, actions, attitude, et cetera), so luckily I don’t worry...

Friend: I have always wanted to be nerd famous. What can I do on the Internet?
Me: Watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians and do the opposite of everything they do on that show.
Me: Like don't design a shitty clothing line manufactured at a potential slave labor sweatshop and then pretend not to know.
Me: and don't take birth control and then say that because you ran out of pills that's a sign to stop taking them because with that logic, I should stop pooping for life the next time I run out of toilet paper
Me: Lastly, don't marry some douche and then act like a bitch about life and file for divorce 72 days later.
Friend: What is the opposite of that?
Me: The opposite of all these things, my dear, is John Green. Shirts from DFTBA Records, marriage to a good Yeti, etc.
Me: (Plus, John Green probably continues to take his birth control pills every month.)

All I have to say about the Mike Lombardo issue:
I’m really proud of John, Hank, DFTBA Records, The Leaky Cauldron, and any other affiliates for acknowledging that this is happening. I can’t say whether he’s guilty or not, but it takes a LOT of guts for a label and community to admit that one of their artists has possibly committed a criminal offense.
Team Breezy (Chris Brown fans) should take note.

chronic-nostalgia asked: for the new year, if I understand correctly, they decided to only make vlogbrothers videos on tuesdays and fridays. john on tuesday, hank on friday. that's why there wan't a vlogbrothers video today. while this kind of sucks, remember that there's now going to be crashcourse and scishow, so there will still be the brothers green on youtube on a consistent basis!
